The 2nd Innovation Webinar “Smart2B Devices” took place on January 11th, 2023. Starting from July 2022, Smart2B is organizing a series of webinars covering many different topics related to energy transition context and how it may contribute to improve the smartness of existing buildings.

During this online session the main goal was to present Smart2B Devices, how they are going to allow the seamless connection of complex and heterogeneous building energy systems (HVAC, EV chargers, energy storage, etc.) legacy appliances, and how they can contribute to upgrading the smartness of existing buildings.

Later the attendees had the opportunity to listen two stakeholders of the Building Energy Sector, the inventor of NET2GRID and the R&D manager of Smart Energy Lab. The discussion was about the most accurate residential energy insights and predictions thanks to the unique know-how in collecting and analysing smart meter data of all granularities, as well as how smart devices can be used to build a Living Lab.
